Contains: (1) Reconnoitring sketch of a portion of Arracan by Lieutenants Wroughton and Thomson, February 28 1825. RUSI number V8.28. (2) A topographical plan of the city and fortifications of Arracan, 1825, by Robert Wroughton. RUSI number V8.29. Map oriented with West at top. (3) Map of Canton (Guangzhou), marked 'the map I used during the operations of storming and advance on to Canton (Guangzhou) in December 1857' and signed W. M. McCrealock. RUSI number A15.27. (4) Chart of the Island of Chusan enlarged from Dalrymple's chart of 1702 and corrected in many places by observations made during an expedition under Captain Sir H. Le Fleming Senhouse on HMS Blenheim between 30 August and 4 September 1840 and completed by John Pascoe second master of Blenheim. Map oriented with West at top. RUSI number V5.15. The map was made for use in operations connected with the first Opium war 1839-42.
