- Summary:
- The texts have been arranged in two separate sections. I have devoted most of the first section to topics of a metaphysical or openly religious character – manifesting themselves, to a different degree and through various intertextual and dialogical strategies, in the works of authors such as Czesław Miłosz, Krzysztof Kuczkowski or Wojciech Kass. The second section contains interpretations of poems by Jarosław Marek Rymkiewicz and Feliks Netz where the most important (but not the only) context is the contemporary and most recent history. A certain semantic refinement of events relevant to a community is effected here through a reference to a vital poetic tradition, including the Polish Romanticism. A unique supplement to some interpretative intuitions offered throughout the book can be found in the annex. It consists of two dialogues: about poetry (with Jarosław Marek Rymkiewicz), and about history and literary criticism (with Tomasz Burek).
