Summary:
Subject: The earliest known view of Honolulu, Hawaii. The town is seen dotted with small dwellings. A few coconut trees are seen along the shoreline in the distance, near the fortress. Ships are seen in the water, and at far left, two men are on horseback and another is carrying water pails.
