Lakewood village introduces students to a novel use of statistical analyses as a tool for capital budgeting decisions. Using the setting of a municipality offers a unique perspective on business decision-making compared to corporate entities. Specifically, Lakewood Village is considering replacing an existing asset-water meters of residential properties from the first stage of the municipality's development.
