- Book of Bakashot and piyutim, composed for the Moroccan use, with compositions from contemporary Moroccan authors (chiefly Samuel Arolyo, mentioned on f. 110v, and 141r; Shemuʼel bar Avner (f. 236v)), with portions at the end of the manuscript for the holidays and Havdalah.

- Layout: Written in columns, with 12-16 lines; written mostly in indented paragraphs.
- Script: Written in a Moroccan cursive script, and captions written in a Sephardic square script, mostly in the hand of Daniʼel Pariente; table of contents portion (f. 143r-151v) written in a Moroccan semicursive script, in the hand of Yaʼudah Seʻadon.
- Origin: Written in Morocco (Bakashot use; script; surnames of scribes) during the second half of the 18th century; Daniʼel Pariente's signature, in Moroccan square versals, on f. 40r; Yaʼudah Seʻadon's tuǧra signature on f. 151v).
- Binding: 19th century wood-covered hammered brown leather, with a frame in the center of both boards.
- A handwritten list of the poems and authors is available in the curator's file.
- Foliation: Paper, 254; 1-254; earlier foliations ([כ"א]-[כ"ה], כ"ו-קמ"ח on f. 1-113; ב-[ל"ג] on f. 114-143; ד-[קל"ב] on f. 152-253, in contemporary Moroccan cursive script; modern foliation in pencil, 1-254, left recto (references in this record are only to modern foliation).
