This book takes the "Xinhua Daily" and "Masses" weekly as research objects, takes the popularization of Marxism as research perspective, adheres to the unity of history and logic, draws on the 5W theory of communication, and uses literature research, comparative research and other methods. On the basis of systematically studying the subjects, audiences, content, form, characteristics, and effects of the popularization of Marxism in the Kuomintang-controlled areas during the War of Resistance Against Japan, this book summarizes and reveals the empirical laws of the popularization of Marxism during the War of Resistance Against Japan, and then analyzes the inspiration for the construction of Marxist discourse power in contemporary China. At present, the academic community's research on the history of the popularization of Marxism and the party newspapers and periodicals of the Communist Party of China during the democratic revolution period is mainly concentrated in the red regime areas under the leadership of the party, and there is little attention to the popularization of Marxism in the Kuomintang-controlled areas. This book takes the "Xinhua Daily" as the research object, and takes the popularization of Marxism in the Kuomintang-controlled areas as the research object. Taking "Xinhua Daily" and "Masses" weekly as perspectives, this paper deeply explores the popularization of Marxism in the Kuomintang-controlled areas during the War of Resistance Against Japan, and further reveals the basic experience and laws of the construction of Marxist discourse power.
