This is a time when gathering fresh food is especially important. Zach follows Igloolik elder Peter Awa on a fish hunting trip, conducted in areas where it is very easy to get lost. In deep darkness, they cut holes through the thick white sea ice in order to set up their fish nets. They are guided solely by the light of their headlamps."-- From Heritage Broadcasting Service.
