Summary:
A couple of small plastic rings appear on the beach of Guéthary along the west coast of France. Each day, there are more and more. François Verdet, a surfer, rides the waves of this beach all year long. He is shocked. Where do these little plastic things come from? He cannot sleep until he finds out their origin. White Waves is a documentary about surfers who fight against pollution to save our oceans.
