Martín Almada, activista por los derechos humanos internacionalmente reconocido y descubridor del Archivo del Terror lleva un combate solitario y quijotesco para denunciar los vínculos existentes entre el viejo sistema dictatorial y la corrupción de la actual democracia. Guillermina Kanonnikoff, valiente activista y Secretaria General del Movimiento Tekojoja, acompaña a Fernando Lugo en su camino hasta las elecciones del 20 de abril 2008.

After 35 years under the Stroessner dictatorship and 17 under the power and corruption of the Colorado Party, the only party in government after the "democratic transition", Fernando Lugo, a former bishop of Teologia of the Liberation, is running for the presidency and represents the hope to build a better future. Martín Almada, internationally recognized human rights activist and discoverer of the Terror Archive, leads a solitary and quixotic fight to denounce the links between the old dictatorial system and the corruption of the current democracy. Guillermina Kanonnikoff, brave activist and General Secretary of the Tekojoja Movement, accompanies Fernando Lugo on his way to the elections on April 20, 2008.
