La Sant Andreu Jazz Band es un proyecto que surge de las aulas. Dirigida por Joan Chamorro, esta big band reúne a niños y niñas de entre 6 y 18 años de edad alrededor de un repertorio de jazz clásico lleno de swing que se ha puesto el público en el bolsillo y llena los auditorios más importantes dentro y fuera del país. La película es un viaje guiado por el director de la orquestra, que nos sumerge en su método de enseñanza, tan singular como los resultados que genera. Una historia que nos hará vibrar con la puesta en escena del talento de estos niños y niñas y nos emocionará a través de todas las sensaciones que son capaces de despertar. En este viaje les acompañan Jesse Davis, Terell Stafford y Wycliffe Gordon, músicos norteamericanos admirados por todos los amantes del jazz y que alimentan el espíritu musical de trayectorias tan precoces como la de Elsa, que con solo 6 años toca la trompeta como un ángel.

The Sant Andreu Jazz Band was born out of a classroom project. This big band is composed of children between 6 and 18 years old, who play a classic jazz repertoire with a heavy dose of swing. Adored by the public, the band has played to sell-out audiences in some of the most important music halls in Spain and abroad. This movie follows their journey under the dedicated direction of Joan Chamorro, immersing us in a teaching method as unique as the results it obtains. It's a film where every child in the orchestra is the protagonist of this story. It features such talents as Jesse Davis, Terell Stafford and Wycliffe Gordon, American musicians admired by all jazz music lovers that feed the spirit of young talents. Not least the talent of 6-year-old Elsa, an aspiring young trumpet player with the sound of an angel.
