- Summary:
- A bandit, a well-digger, a little girl who works, a boy who does not want to work, a girl who emigrates, a ghost who seeks company... These, and many other characters make up the diversified panorama that we discover among the trees of El bosque animado. Their life stories start weaving a story of humans and plants. The way they cross and intertwine makes it difficult to reach their roots and know where they begin and where they will end. A world of poor and of rich people: the lords of El Pazo, the Madrid summer vacationers, and the Village Patron, who exploits children because her single life has created an obsession with money. The only connection that unites and disunites all characters is the train that borders the forest. This movie is an example of hyperlink cinema, whose stories are difficult to summarise. It is an open story, a description of a small world, in which tenderness, tolerance and laughter are combined.
