- Summary:
- Three intertwined stories from three continents. The first one, two Japanese executives in Tokyo whose lives are trapped in a vicious circle of consumerism and corporate work. The second one, a sub-Saharan community on Mount Gurugu near the Melilla fence, the border between Africa and Europe. They risk their lives every day trying to cross over to the First World. The third story, Spanish families destroyed by the economic crisis: property speculation, political corruption, and the loss of their homes. These stories are told through the words of José Mujica, Uruguay's former President. Throughout, the movie tackles universal issues that threaten humanity, calling into question important pillars of the world we live in.
