Summary:

Alberto Sarlo, abogado y escritor de La Plata, intenta un proyecto utópico: enseñarles filosofía, literatura y boxeo a 52 presos del Pabellón 4 de una cárcel de máxima seguridad ubicada en Florencio Varela, en el conurbano bonaerense. Los internos hablan de Hegel, de Sartre, de Dostoievski, del superhombre, y escriben cuentos en los que desnudan su alma y cuentan partes de sus experiencias tumberas. La filosofía los ayuda a repensar sus vidas, sus destinos y las decisiones tomadas. Carlos "Kongo" Mena, un preso que acaba de salir en libertad, vuelve a la cárcel como ayudante de Sarlo, dando su visión desde un lugar más cercano a la realidad de los otros internos. Alberto logra que Carlos sea el primer ex presidiario contratado para enseñar en las cárceles bonaerenses. Para muchos de ellos es la viva imagen de que la redención es posible.

Alberto Sarlo, lawyer and writer from La Plata, tries a utopian project: teach philosophy, literature and boxing to 52 prisoners of Pavilion 4 of a maximum security prison located in Florencio Varela, in the Buenos Aires suburbs. The inmates talk about Hegel, Sartre, Dostoevsky, the superman, and write stories in which they bare their souls and tell parts of their grave experiences. Philosophy helps them rethink their lives, their destinies, and the decisions made. Carlos "Kongo" Mena, a prisoner who has just been released, returns to prison as Sarlo's assistant, giving his vision from a place closer to the reality of the other inmates. Alberto manages to make Carlos the first ex-convict hired to teach in Buenos Aires prisons. For many of them it is the living image that redemption is possible.
