Designed for teaching and learning about material properties, DataVis is an interactive data visualization tool that visually displays property data across more than 200 materials and 65 properties, including cost. DataVis can be used to search for a property for a particular material, or to compare one or more properties across the full dataset of materials. It is ideally suited for material selection for design projects and to help students better understand material properties. The DataVis project library provides active learning projects that faculty can share with their students.
