There are marvellous accounts of life in the outback, visits by the flying doctor, gold mines, sheep farms, wine festivals and Christmas in Sydney. There is also an account of a wonderful reception on Yorke Island. At the end, there are biographical notes, including a complete list of places visited, 1911-1963.
