- George McCrackin, Principal of the public high school in Goose Creek, S.C., sought help from the police in dealing with drug use. Together they orchestrated a raid during which armed police officers with a drug-detection dog burst into the school. Thirty-eight families of students in the school have filed a lawsuit against the school district and the Goose Creek Police Department, alleging assault and battery, excessive force and unreasonable search and seizure.
