Summary:
"Pevernage's chansons, all of which were published between 1589 and 1597, feature lively rhythms, some chromaticism, frequent changes of texture and style, and madrigal-like settings of the more picturesque texts. This volume presents Pevernage's second book of chansons, published in 1590, which contains twenty-eight chansons for five voices. In contrast to Pevernage's first chanson book (edited in vol. 60 in this series), all the chansons of the second book are on secular texts." -- Provided by publisher.

Là me tiendray où à present me tien
O coeur hautain, o courage pudique (2. partie)
Tant seulement ton amour je demande
Puisqu' amour m'a voulu arrester
Si le Rubis par sa naive bonté

Tout ce qui est au monde
De moins que Rien.
