Title engraved within ornamental headpiece showing a city panorama, with coats of arms in each upper corner, and the title words bracketed by the motto: "Fama volante".
By 1750 title is printed, not engraved, and lacks headpiece; by 1770 title cut has changed to heraldic device supported by angels.
Imprint from undated colophon.
Early imprints lack dates; in 1753 imprints include year of publication; title page imprints undated.
From 1750 issues are printed on folio sheets.
