- Includes detailed descriptions of some of the previously enslaved, their occupations, lifestyles and their activities while staying in England, and the account of one enslaved gentleman (Leandro Llopar) who got lost in London and his attempts to rejoin the rest of the party, including a short stay in Winchester. Includes two prints of previously enslaved people at Plymouth and a translation of a letter sent from Havana, 16th June 1855, from Desalu de Chono to Mr Gollmer. He is in Havana and has been enslaved, set to breaking stones and is calling for help.
