Biography/History:
Jara Fernǹdez Meneses is a lecturer in film studies at the University of Southampton, UK, where she teaches international film industry and film policy studies at undergraduate, postgraduate (taught) and PhD levels. Her research focuses on film policy, film industry and contemporary European cinema. Within this framework, she has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals and several chapters in edited books. She conducts her current research in two international research groups: TECMERIN (UC3M) and DeVisiones (UAM).
