- Summary:
- Carved out of the erstwhile state of Andhra Pradesh in the south of India, Telangana is the 29th state of India, bifurcated on June 2nd 2014. A victim of political dominance and discrimination for decades by its elite partners, the region's history is marked by a long and sometimes violent agitation for separation. Still seeking justice explores the various forms and facets of exploitation-from usurping of jobs to water resources in the region and how over the years, the resentment snowballed into a movement for separation and freedom. While this film echoes the voices that demand to break free and seek their destiny in their own land - it is also a universal story of people's struggles everywhere to become even partners in the power and wealth of a nation.
