Summary:
Neurodiversity refers to neurological differences or neuro-variations such as autism, ADHD, Tourette's, dyslexia, among others. However, more generally it describes someone whose brain processes information differently to neurotypical individuals. About 1 in 5 people are neurodivergent. Many neurodivergent people have extraordinary abilities that can be harnessed and valued in an inclusive environment with appropriate recruitment and training, and supportive managers and teams.
