Summary:
Leap out of Loneliness is a course that provides an understanding of loneliness and strategies to overcome it. Loneliness affects at least one third or even up to half the population, and can have a detrimental impact on physical and mental health. We all need strong social networks and the ability to make connections for our physical, emotional and mental health. But many struggle with how to break out of loneliness. In this course psychologists Eve Ash and Peter Quarry explain the impact of loneliness and how to make connections, and conduct an experiment talking to strangers on a park bench.
