Summary:
The exhibition is the first review of the history of the use of color photography in Mexico and presents 208 works by national and foreign photographers such as Manuel Álvarez Bravo, Héctor García, Mariana Yampolsky, Francis Alÿs, Bob Schalkwijk and Pedro Meyer, to mention a few, belonging to 78 collections and archives in Mexico and the United States, some exhibited for the first time. The magnum exhibition is the outcome of three years of research under the curatorial direction of James Oles.
