- Explore and discover two major poles along the route of the Silk Road, Jiangsu province in China and Qazvin province in Iran. As their history is brought to light, their importance in this ancient trade network becomes clear. For at least two millennia, beginning at least in the 2nd century BC, this route played a key role in the spread of both products and ideas between East Asia and areas to the west, including Central Asia, the Middle East, and Europe. Iranian documentary filmaker, Nima Hassan Beigi, produced and directed this travelogue.
