Join Monty as he digs into the archaeology of the towns, forts and settlements along the contended border zone between Colonial America and New France that tell the story of America's first world war: the French and Indian War, between 1754 and 1763. In this war, which was a part of a worldwide conflict between competing colonial powers, the British North American colonies along the eastern seaboard fought against those of the French to the north and west. Each side was supported by different Native American allies.
