Summary:
This conference was first held at a national level in 2001 by the Faculty of Engineering at Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta with the name Rekayasa Aplikasi Perancangan dan Industri or RAPI. The international version of RAPI, the 1st International Conference on Engineering Technology and Industrial Application (ICETIA), was first organized in 2013. The conference series aims to present breakthroughs from engineering-related fields, particularly those relevant to a better future for the environment. The 8th ICETIA 2021 was conducted online on December 15 and 16, 2021 under the theme of “Engineering, Environment, and Health: Exploring the Opportunities for the Future.” This summit aimed to be a medium for scientists, researchers, and practicians in the fields of education, engineering, and computers to disseminate their most up-to-date research findings for the development of technology in the world. The conference welcomed contributions from electrical engineering, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, the built environment, and other engineering domains with relevant ideas, concepts, applications, best practices, and research.
