Parchment Yizkor roll inscribed with names (male and female) belonging to deceased synagogue members, inscribed next to their Yahrzeit dates, for a Lower East Side synagogue; the name of the deceased rabbi, Mordekhai Leyb ben Yoḥanan Magid, written on the first line of the second column in bold script; names include Gordon, Zirinsky, Volk, Kossovsky, Shames, Geffen, and Kahn.

Script: Written in an Eastern European square script, in multiple hands.

Origin: Written for the use of Yizkor and Yahrzeit in the Lower East Side of New York; the earliest Yahrzeit date is 29 Tishre [5]695 (8 October 1934) and the final date is 16 Shevat [5]712 (12 February 1952).
