Unsigned copy, probably from around 1808, of a sermon in the Mohawk language composed for the 20th Sunday after Pentecost by Father Vincent Fleuri Guichart de Kersident, missionary to the Iroquois and Algonquin Indians at Lac des Deux Montagnes in Oka, Canada on the profitable use of illness and suffering as a means to spiritual rewards.
