- Compiled under the direction of John Stuart, His Majesty's Superintendant of Indian Affairs, by Joseph Purcell. Shows North America east of the Mississippi River and south of the Ohio River. References identify 155 Creek, Choctaw, Chickasaw, and Cherokee villages. Includes notes on Indian land claims and cessions. Relief shown by hachures.
