March 2, 1815, letter from Todd, then assistant inspector general of the 8th Military District, to his future father-in-law and governor of Kentucky, Isaac Shelby, informing him that the Kentucky militia under Col. Francisco was to be discharged and commenting on prospects for peace with the Indians on the frontier.
