A great fan of hiking, Caspar Schols has been working for a decade now to build a "life module" compatible with the natural environment. With its envelope on rails allowing a first wooden volume to slide to reveal a second glass shell, which also opens onto nature, the "Cabin Anna" created by Caspar Schols was one of the most beautiful examples of the number . The engineering feat hides a human adventure and the will of a builder-entrepreneur who was not yet qualified when he built, in his mother's garden, the first prototype of Anna. A societal vision and architectural ambition motivate the company. A student of David Greene, one of the founders of Archigram, Caspar Schols cites not only the English architect's Living Pod, but also, among other references, Michael Webb's Suitaloon, two of the most interesting companies in the world. those carried out in the 1960s and 1970s in terms of minimum housing.

Avec son enveloppe sur rails permettant de faire coulisser un premier volume en bois pour dégager une deuxième coque vitrée, qui s'ouvre elle aussi sur la nature, la «Cabin Anna» créée par Caspar Schols était l'un des plus beaux exemples du numéro. / La prouesse d'ingénierie cache une aventure humaine et la volonté d'un bâtisseur-entrepreneur qui n'était pas encore diplômé quand il construisit, dans le jardin de sa mère, le premier prototype d'Anna. Une vision sociétale et une ambition architecturale motivent l'entreprise. Élève de David Greene, l'un des fondateurs d'Archigram, Caspar Schols cite non seulement le Living Pod de l'architecte anglais, mais aussi, parmi d'autres références, le Suitaloon de Michael Webb, deux entreprises parmis les plus intéressantes de celles menées dans les années 1960 et 1970 en matière d'habitat minimum.
