A work edited by the philosopher, photographer and curator Alejandro León Cannock (Lima 1980). The book brings together reflections on the changes that Peruvian photography has undergone since the emergence of a generation of artists that includes Roberto Huarcaya, Luz María Bedoya, Flavia Gandolfo, Juan Enrique Bedoya and Milagros de la Torre. The book collects the proceedings of a symposium held in October of 2018 at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú within the context of the International Congress Las razones de la estética. Debates contemporáneos sobre los sentidos de la aisthesisʺ organized by the Grupo de investigación en Arte y Estética of the university. The book features texts by researchers, artists, and curators who come from formal university spaces.
