- Summary:
- This exhibition offers a look at current printmaking in Peru through the recent work of artists active in cities such as Arequipa, Cuzco, Lima and Trujillo, among others. For this reason, the only premise for selecting these prints among which we find woodcuts, lithographs, intaglio prints and serigraphs was that they had been made between 2022 and 2023. Several pieces were never exhibited before or were executed especially for the occasion. ICPNA PRINT EXCHANGE is a folder of chalcographic prints, known as the art of engraving on copper or brass plates. It is the first organized by the ICPNA Museum of Engraving, with the participation of 13 artists trained as engravers at ENSABAP and at the Faculty of Art of PUCP, including, Rosa Girón y Marco Alburqueque, both winners of the Primer Premio del Salón Nacional de Grabado ICPNA in 1995 and 1996, respectively.
