Summary:
Drones are already being used in a variety of fields including military, research, science, sports and so on. Ever thought of receiving ordered food falling from the sky? Sound strange? Large corporations like Amazon, Chipotle, Coca Cola, and Domino's Pizza already conducted trial runs to study the delivery of food and/or beverages using drones. Efficiency, convenience, and profits are the primary motives. However, there are serious restrictions and hurdles that need careful consideration in selecting drone deliveries. This case study presents the dilemma of using a technological marvel, while considering the pros and cons of using drones for food deliveries.
