Summary:

This book is composed of nine series of stories with different styles, interspersed with the stories of various new immigrants in the city, including those who are young and artistic, those who are actively striving, those who are suspended and wandering, as well as the curiosity of foreign tourists. The plots are intertwined and branched, and the perspectives are toggled to connect stories. The diversity of the metropolis is reflected in this: From different perspectives, how does everyone see themselves? How do they see others? In this constant reflection, the first seven chapters of the book are laid out layer by layer, and each chapter is a reference to the previous chapter. Deconstruction, reshaping and constant reversal, until all absurdities are explained by science fiction settings, but this setting is also being constantly overturned, indicating that modern people are in a state of being eliminated, deconstructed to nothingness. The last two chapters use the form of Kunqu Opera lyrics and scripts to kill characters, and combine all the previous chapters.
