Summary:

The book represents an exhaustive account of mural production and its authors over a century in that state of Jalisco, rescuing in a special way the presence -always denied- of women in the Mexican muralist movement. The edition brings together 17 texts by specialists who make a rigorous account of the mural work and its authors over a century in the state, as well as a wide iconography that accounts for the numerous and valuable murals that are distributed throughout the geography of the region and that were produced at the same time as the muralism that occurred in the center area of the country, especially in Mexico City.
