Summary:
Originally, the itinerant exhibition was conceived to commemorate the 90th anniversary of Manuel Felguérez (1928-2020). The death of the artist on June 8, 2020 has resignified this exhibition as the last one bequeathed by one of the central figures of local modern art. The exhibition traces Felguérez's work around a series of moments that distinguish the changes of direction within his artistic production. The first, his pictorial and early mural work; secondly, his pioneering project of experimentation with the computer in the seventies, and finally his late work characterized by monumental pieces.
