- Summary:
- A profile of Mark Bradford, one of the world's most popular abstract artists. Bradford uses layers of paper that he tears, sands, and power washes to create his final work. Since selling his first work for $5000 while working as a hairdresser in 2001, he has become one of the world's premiere artists and now sells works for as much as $10 Million. Bradford says his motto is "if they don't sell it at Home Depot, Mark Bradford doesn't use it," with regard to his materials and discusses his attempts to stay true to himself while tackling serious social and political issues with his art. Includes interviews with Cleo Jackson, Danielle Wright, and Lynette Powell, who are longtime friends and hair clients of Bradford.
