Summary:
The special issue of ICCEIB2022 is a collection of invited contributions from the presenters of the 6th International Conference of Chemical Engineering and Industrial Biotechnology (ICCEIB2022), a biennial conference organized by the Faculty of Chemical and Process Engineering Technology, Universiti Malaysia Pahang, Malaysia, on August 5-16, 2022. ICCEIB2022 witnessed the co-hosting of the conference with Nguyen Tat Thanh University (Vietnam), and Tianjian University (China). The theme for ICCEIB2022 was “Establishment of Sustainable Technological Solution for Industry and Society.” This conference was designed to disseminate the latest research findings and advances in the chemical engineering and industrial biotechnology area to society. Specifically, focusing on demand, supplies, storage, and transportation issues in food, energy, and water nexus. These areas have become high concerns to the private sector, researchers, academics, industrialists, and policy makers. The phrase Food (F), Energy (E), Water (W) was maintained as the ICCEIB2022 tagline since it has become the trademark of the conference and due to the significance of these areas in society. This volume compiled proceedings in the areas of (i) Food and Biotechnology (ii) Energy and Advances in Chemical Engineering (iii) Water and Environmental Engineering, and (iv) Fluid Flow and Separation Processes.
