Summary:

The Department of Computer Applications, Chitkara University, Punjab, India organized an International Conference titled Applied Data Science and Smart Systems (ADSSS-2022) in the month of November, 2022. It was a two-day event and conducted in a hybrid mode. The agenda of the conference was to bring the researchers together using a common platform to showcase their research on applied data science and smart systems. ADSSS-2022 was the first edition of the international conference organized by the department of computer applications. A total of 110 research papers were presented in 15 different sessions including both online/offline sessions. The national and international keynote speakers shared the latest tools, technologies, and information with the audience. The keynote talks by Dr. Danilo Pelusi (University of Teramo, Italy), Dr. Farman Ali (Sejong University, South Korea), and Dr. Dinesh Vishwakarma (DIT, New Delhi, India) were eye-openers.
