Summary:

ICVSSD has been organized in the years 2017, 2018, and 2019 by TheVibrationLab, School of Mechanical Engineering, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). The theme of ICVSSD2022 was "Human Centric Research in Knowledge Driven Economy," where we encouraged presenters to highlight their research work which could lead to improved competitiveness and the well-being of industry and society. This meant that the research work had to address issues of the people – health, safety, economy, and the environment, which are the main pillars of knowledge economy. The main conference topics were vibration, acoustics, applied mechanics, tribology, control and signal processing, manufacturing, renewable energy, and biomechanics.
