Summary:
Three leaves separated from an early 14th century parchment codex manuscript of the Tosafot to Tractate Ḥullin; it is possible that folios 2 and 3 were originally consecutive. The Tosafot to Tractate Ḥullin is a text with few manuscript copies. It was among the later of the Tosafot to be completed, and are from the Tosafot of Touques (Normandy) compiled and abridged by Eliezer ben Solomon of Touques, likely from material extracted from the Tosafot of Sens (see: Urbach, E.E., Ba'ale ha-Tosafot, volume 2, page 665-667). At the beginning of the 17th century it was dismembered and used for bindings; the lines of text on the binding are paralell to the spine, and continue on the lower cover; at the edges, they are folded inward (as a notch); the printed books within date from Frankfurt am Main, 1609 and the pasted endpapers are contemporary to the book, suggesting that this manuscript was in Frankfurt am Main at the beginning of the 17th century.
