Rabbi of Zhetel, then in Poland (the Polish name was Zdzięcioł; today Dzi︠a︡tlava, Belarus).

Summary:

Halakhic composition written on the pages of the Vilnius 1818 edition of Even ha-shaʻot by Aaron ben Israel Broda (Ṿilna: Nisan ben Shemuʼel, Ḥayim Zelig ben Avraham mi-Ziṭel, Menaḥem Man ben Barukh, [1818]); in the introduction, the author's son Nisan Broda, rabbi of Raduń, Belarus (near Grodno) describes his transcription and assembly of his father's writing, and details his distinct style of Halakhic verse (a separate introduction under the title כללים על פרשה ציון), which is present in this manuscript. The topics covered in the manuscript are on the laws of Passover; includes laws of Siym (the Ashkenazic custom to impede the Fast of the Firstborns on the eve of Passover; f. 21v), Bedikat Ḥamets (inspection for leavened bread; f. 21v), laws of baking Matza, and immersion of vessels in seething water (הגעלת כלים). Written in a minuscule Lithuanian 19th century script, aligning with the printed margins between folios 21v-30r; blue paper; bound in a modern blue binding.
