Summary:
Feminist autobiographic photobook on the historical memory of Colombia. This is the story of Alexa Rochi, a nurse and fighter for the FARC guerrillas in the Yarí plains in Colombia and one of the guerrilla's signing participants of the Peace Agreement. During the war, one day by chance she got hold of a camera. From that moment until today she has taken many photographs. First as a combatant with a rifle, and today, as part of "civilian life" with a camera in her trade in the Press Office of the Senate of the Republic. Her book "Shots x Shots" collects in photographs, moments of her life after she exchanged the rifle shots for camera shots: in the mountains, when she was a guerrilla, her current life and her process as an activist and defender of the feminist and LGBTIQ+ movement. The green bandana (used in the book), has become a worldwide symbol of the feminist movement for the right to legal, safe, and free abortion and known as the "the green wave".
