Summary:

Pablo Edelstein (Switzerland, 1917 - Buenos Aires, 2010) mastered sculptural ceramics, painting, engraving and drawing, and dabbled in collage and happenings. His repertoire includes eroticism, bullfighting, flowers, landscapes, busts and heads, still lifes and experimentation, geometry and abstraction. He was obsessed with the human figure, which he polished and synthesized until it became angular. At the end of his journey, he was subjugated by the Möbius Ribbon and the desire to capture in sheet metal an idea of infinity. Monumental pieces and murals left their mark on the public space. In his workshop, always open to students, children and grandchildren, there were days as a living model, in which he made one sketch after another, and others dedicated to ceramics.
