Summary:

Under the title América, this project begins with a gesture of linguistic and symbolic reappropriation: taking for the south the name that is usually used by a part of the north of the continent. America for South Americans, the artist driana Bustos (Bahía Blanca, 1965) proposes in her own way. In this fictional cutout, America can be narrated from the geopolitics of the rivers, through the images and data related to the contemporary life of some of the main waterways of the Southern Cone: the Amazon, the Orinoco, the Magdalena, etc.
