- The book is based on the ambitious art collective project "Artists' Plaques", led by the artist Cristina del Castillo, and where more than 1500 artists from 37 countries participated in its three editions, (2004, 2007 and 2010), sending their ceramic plaques designed to beautify the public thoroughfare of Paso de los Libres, a city in the east of the province of Corrientes in the Argentina. Artists from Argentina, Germany, Belgium, Brazil, Bolivia, Canada, Colombia, Korea, Cuba, Czechoslovakia, Chile, China, Dominican Republic, Egypt, France, Germany, Greece, India, Israel, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Mexico, Norway, Peru, Paraguay, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Slovenia and Spain, participated.
