- "Bochum im Mai, 1910."-- Page 106.
- Title devised by cataloger.
- Occasional instances of consecutive page duplication are evident within the score.
- Certain works are partially obscured by overlays or other alterations that introduce modified musical content; other parts of the text are crossed out in some places, further complicating interpretation.
- Repeated prayers and texts are cited by reference throughout the compendium.
- Italian is the predominant language for musical indications, supplemented by some German terms.
- GM-27, GM-28, GM-29, and GM-51 comprise a SATB set for selected sections of the Jewish liturgical calendar, yet they are supplemented by musical selections drawn from non-Jewish German sacred vocal and choral pieces from the Baroque and Classical periods. Minor variations are evident in the sequencing and structural presentation of the musical material in the four parts. The compilation belongs to the synagogue in Bochum as attested by evidence included in the parts themselves as well as by the inclusion of many pieces composed or arranged by Max Rosenthal, choir director and organist of the Bochum synagogue c. 1910-1937.
