- Commissioned by the counter-tenor Charles Brett and first performed by him with the lutenist Robert Spencer at the Rattlinghope Festival, Shropshire in 1984. In 2011 the American counter-tenor Lawrence Zazzo recorded them with the lutenist Shizuko Noiri for their album Lunarcy.
